Project Risk: The Cumulative Effects of Mineral Resource Uncertainty – 18th May 2017

May 18, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Mineral resource uncertainty can critically impact on a project’s credibility and operation. However, the effects may only become evident way beyond resource classification, or even after significant financial commitments have been made.

Despite being the topic of many presentations, papers and workshops, its practical resolution remains poorly understood. The Association of Mining Analysts (AMA) in partnership with Women in Mining (UK) and Gowling WGL, would like to invite you to an enlightening discussion on the subject with Chris Arnold, Principal Geologist at AMC Consultants.

With more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry working on precious, base and bulk metals projects and operations worldwide, Chris will give practical examples on how neglected uncertainties can compromise investments, covering issues from risk anticipation to impacts mitigation.

This event is kindly sponsored by Gowling WLG.
